What We Did.

In the summer of 2024, Rochester International Airport (RST) asked us to help them improve their load factor (a.k.a., the average number of seats filled on each plane) and encourage local travelers to fly through RST rather than another airport. This would show airlines that customers wanted to use RST and bring more direct flights to Rochester (something local travelers have long asked for).

Their problem: How do you explain (and sell!) this complex concept to travelers in an understandable, engaging, and convincing way?

Enter: “Flocal.” We launched an airport marketing campaign with this new term splashed across almost every type of medium: videos, billboards, buses, digital and print ads, social media – heck, even T-shirts and stickers!

Within a few weeks of this airport marketing campaign launch, we’ve seen a huge growth in organic performance on social media and a 22% increase in average engagement/session on Google Analytics! It’s a testament to how high-quality video, design, and advertising really does work.

Flocal Won Two Telly Awards!

This campaign took home two 2025 Telly Awards: a Silver Award in the Campaign-Travel & Tourism category, and a Bronze Award in the Campaign-B2C: Business-to-Consumer category. We are so honored to be recognized!
