What We Did.

Sweet Harvest Foods came to us with a request that every creative agency dreams of: “make us a company video, but don’t make it look like every other company video.” What does that mean, you may ask? Essentially, no sweeping drone shots, no stock corporate soundtrack, and no stiff boardroom interviews.

Instead, they wanted something bold, vibey, and intentional – a.k.a., a video that would reflect the energy, innovation, and disruption they’re bringing to a category often seen as traditional and “sleepy.”

We knew this project had to push beyond the usual formula. So the question was: how do we capture authentic leadership voices without falling into the trap of the same old boring corporate interviews?

Here’s what we did:
  1. We built the interviews around a bold yellow backdrop, evoking honey and bees while aligning with Sweet Harvest’s brand palette.
  2. Instead of open-ended Q&A, we reverse-engineered the soundbites we wanted, giving each leader intentional, sharp lines that flowed as a narrative.
  3. We mocked up the camera placement, lighting design, and composition before the shoot, so the client could see how interviews would feel. This “look-ahead” allowed everyone to see the vision before a single light was turned on.
We spent two days on site at their Lakeville facility, capturing leadership interviews and filming B-roll of the scale of their operations, robotics, and plant. Back in edit, we combined that footage with punchy motion graphic work to create an “about” video that Sweet Harvest was so wild about, they posted it immediately to their socials after final approval.

This project was about more than making an “about” video; it was about rethinking what a corporate story can look like. Along the way, we got a crash course in honey: from hive to kitchen table, the technology behind large-scale beekeeping, and the innovative ways the Sweet Harvest team is revamping an ancient product.
It was exciting to partner with clients who were seeking bold creativity – the kind of collaboration that brings out the best in our team.

The finished work included:
  • 90-second brand video for public use.
  • A private investor-focused stinger video, cut from the same shoot but pushing harder into future growth and scale.
  • A set of short social clips to extend the campaign online.

Together, these pieces showcase Sweet Harvest as a category disruptor and a company with a bold vision for the future.
